How to plug a Bluetooth in HP laptop?

I just bought a new HP laptop, and tried to pair my phone through bluetooth but I get the following error message. could anyone please tell me how to plug the bluetooth?

"An error occurred while windows was saving your setting. The bluetooth device might be unplugged."
