how to play DVD on gps in jeep rubicon?

my parents bought a jeep rubicon & the guy at the dealership told us that we can play dvd's in the gps. we figured out how to do that but you can only do it when the car is stopped, not while its driving. the dealership guy also told us that there IS a way to make the dvd play while driving but you can get a ticket for it. anyway how do we do it? we are going on a loooong camping trip tomorrow & me n my friend wanna watch movies while on the way there!
