I have recently decided to turn my life around and quit smoking pot (the only thing I have done in a really long time). The last time I smoked was on July 19 and I signed up for MEPS on August the 24th. I have a slow metabolism, and am about 5'10'' 160. I have read that drinking a lot of water is bad because it doesn't flush anything out, it just makes your kidneys realize that there is an overload of water in your system. I read that taking cranberry pills actually does flush your system. I am sort of scared to go as I have never had to take a drug test in my life. I thought of getting a home drug test, but wasn't for sure if it tested the same way the drug test does at meps. I also heard that they take your blood and didn't know if they did that to test for drugs in your system as well. I realize that not doing it in the first place helps....but it would be about 34 days that I didn't smoke. Exercising helps? Any information or opinions would be appreciated.
