I would suggest going for a smokey look especially since you are going to a party. For your eye color use either a dark purple or black eye shadow. Apply on your crease and outer corner and use black eye liner to line your upper lids and lower lids. Then use mascara on your upper lashes and a little on your lower lashes. Since your eyes would be smokey you don't want to look over done so use a peachy or light pink lip gloss.

if you are gonna play up ur eyes, make sure keep lips light or they would be clashing.
black eyeliner. Google shiseido's silky quad in rose tone (Q11), use similar colours. the pearlish white/lt pink shadow goes on brow bone, lighter purple on top of liner, darker purple at the outer corner of eys, blend them well. Creates really nice contras =)
