How to not get deployed, but learn to fly in military?

Hi, I'd like to join the military because learning to fly has always been my life's dream but I don't have the money, plus I think the discipline and benefits can't hurt. But at the same time I don't want to get shot down in the middle east. So I guess my question is what's the best way to not get deployed? to join the air national guard, air reserves, navy air, or what? and also, should I do a normal air program at all or become an army helicopter pilot, as I'd like to learn to fly both planes and helicopters. thanks!

I like katie's answer but if you become an officer in the coast guard you won;t get deployed but you'll still learn to fly and get to fly but at least you won't die.

I don't have a problem with people wanting to join the military to learn a trade or for the benefits. But they have to do everything that is required of them, including going downrange. If you're not willing to deploy then stay out of the military. It is not for you.
