How to not eat when i am not hungry?

Even when i am not hungry as soon as i am bored or i havent eaten in a while i eat. and i always choose the fatty foods that fill you up but only for a little while, leaving me hungry again.
i am never hungry in the day until about 10. so then i eat a late breakfast and then dont get hungry for lunch until about 2 or 3. and this always ruins my appetite so i am never hungry when dinner time comes. we always go to my grandmas for dinner and i dont want to hurt her feelings by not eating dinner but otherwise if i do eat i feel like i am stuffing my face. and that is not helping my diet. at all.
does anyone have any ideas or solutions to my problem that would be great!
and also any ideas of foods that are healthy and fill you up for a long time.

You could do other activities during your spare time to take your mind of food. You could watch and follow an aerobics video on youtube which is fun and will help you on your diet. Or you could help out around the house. Just do what you enjoy, sports maybe.

Apple and banana mixed with yoghurt always fills me up, or nuts and fruit bars.

Whenever you feel the need to start eating something, chug a full glass of water. That'll keep you from feeling empty and it's always good to drink more water :P

Or go to the healthy side and have an unsweetened cup of Green Tea, people say that it calms hunger and burns fat.
 
Try exercising an hour or so after lunch. It will make you hungry, so you won't feel like your stuffing yourself.
