How to move movie files on FCP X?

I'm editing a 30 minute one-take video on FCP X, but I didn't want to edit the whole thing at once considering the amount of time I have available. I wanted to divide it into 4 parts so I could put them in different project windows in the project library where I could easily edit them individually. Am I missing something? Are you able to do this? Please reply ASAP!
