How to more easily access the front engine compartment on my VW Eurovan Camper 95?
My buddy's dad had a 92 basic Eurovan and all he had to do was remove about 4 bolts under the hood along the radiator top and surrounding area. This allowed for his whole radiator to sort of lift and tilt outward on a hinge for easier access to the engine compartment. For the 1995 that I have, something extra needs to be done in order to achieve that. When I look in the compartment, I can see what looks like a hinge system but I cannot figure out the extra I need to dissasemble to make it work. One major difference between this one and the 92 model is that the front lower grille seems to also be tilted out with this whole assembly.
Thank you for your tips.
