Ok,
I'm tired of waiting for the phantom 2.2 update.
Where can I find the official update that will work for my AT&T (EPE54B) N1.

It seems that google has pulled the update off their servers
http://android.clients.google.com/packages/passion/signed-passion-FRF85B-from-EPE54B.75b107d6.zip in so far as I cannot find it.

Check here for links to update. (You can also root if you like with instructions there)

I have an unlocked bootloader/rooted N1. Thanks for the XDA thread but the links provided in that thread, specifically for the FRF85B are dead

That's my problem, I cannot find the official 2.2 ROM to download

I do want to tread carefully since I have an AT&T N1, I want to make sure its the official release since that will include a radio update and for what I understand there were initially different radio updates depending on t-mo or at&t. I'm not 100% about this but I do want to be careful.

This should work for you and has a radio update included and works with any recovery.

To install any android update manually follow the steps. You just required an update zip file.

1. Download the official Android 2.2 firmware for the Nexus One.
2. Copy the file to your microSD card and name it update.zip (newb warning: not update.zip.zip)
3. Power off your phone.
4. Hold down the VOLUME DOWN button and power it back on.
5. The phone will now search for files like PB00IMG.zip, etc. This is normal. Scroll down to recovery and press the POWER button.
6. When you see the “/!\” symbol, press the POWER button and the Volume Up button at the same time. You should be presented with a menu and one of the options should be “Apply sdcard:update.zip”.
7. Use the trackball to navigate to “apply sdcard:update.zip” and select it.
8. When you see “Install from sdcard complete”, select “reboot system now”.

It depends on what version your OS version is now.

For 1.6, you may have to Update SPL once or twice(Depends on the current SPL Version), and update radio once. That's risky.

Then, you could update the rom, it's much lower risky.
