How to manually program pm 8200 to Cricket from Sprint

:help: I have a sanyo pm 8200 and want to manually program the phone for cricket can some one walk me though what I need to do. I can't seem to find anying about how to unlock the phone from sprint and then manually program to cricket.

well when i press in that code nothing happens, however if i press in ##786# then something comes up "reverse logistic" menu... but Yes I need to know the codes after you open the Programming Menu, and how to edit or reprogram the phone. I would go have some one flash it, but we live along ways from any one that can and I want to give this phone to my son, in the morning I think I am just screwed!!! It is his birthday..

As long as you have a Cricket MIN and MDN and they have your ESN in the system you should be fine (The MDN and MIN is what you'll get when you start a new line of service, the ESN must be in there system as well.) You could probably program it via your computer some how. But that will be a pain. Before you can program you must have a phone nuraber from them. Try these and see what happens:

##786# - Phone Usage & Master Reset (##RTN#)
##3282# - Data Provisioning (##DATA#)
##33284# - Debug Menu (##DEBUG#)

I already have the phone # I just need the phone to work. I do not have a good cable for my pc to down load any thing for flash or reprograming the phone.

ok I have a old phone with the phone # but is broken I just can't make any calls on it but it does power up, can I find it on that phone?

lol you need to unlock this phone first by getting the SPC and then changing it to all zeros. Then you have to get the cricket PRL on there and then call in the esn its easy to do i flash alot of these. At least if you know what your doing anyway.

Your MDN and MIN will be in the "User Activation" menu of the phone (Also called "Manual Activation")

The ESN in the nuraber under the battery on the *NEW* phone not the old one. Cricket has to have scanned this nuraber in when you took the new phone in. (You posted this so you know where it is)

The SPC (Service Provisioning Code if i remeraber right) is the "Security code" you enter. If i remeraber its also called a Subsidy code (Edit: I think thats a different one) You'll need software to get the SPC Changed. But most of the time its 00000, 12345, 54321 etc.

No, Changing the SPL will require you to connect the phone to the computer. I'm not entirely sure which software you'll need for a Sanyo though.
