how to mannually flash verizon to cricket

I bought a samsung a650 that was suppose to be flashed to cricket. I called they ecepted my esn and give me a nuraber, but when i call *228 i get verizon not cricket. i dont want to pay more money to flash it, i just want voice on it. Is there a way to mannually flash it and change the prl with out cabels? I really need help, could some one help me!!!!!

I was referring to his statment that on the pre-paid phone the *22804 connects to verizon and not to cricket. But yes if the MSL is locked, he won't be able to do either without unlocking the phone with a subisdy unlocker.

you might be able to dial *228xx depending on the market.

Keep in mind NEWER Verizon phones the *22804 feature doesnt work youll have to unlock and reprogram the phone

For the samsung a950 and a970 you can download the driver http://pub.undeadarmy.com/a950.zip and read from your phone I had a prepaided phone and used it to read my OTKSL and all that It shows you all there is to see on your phone When asked for the MSL code, type in 000000
to get to the 'Hidden Menu' in the a950 simply type in 1475369126874#*
My OTKSL was 111111 so hope this helps out

Same thing, when i dial *22888 i get verizon over the air activation not crickets programing. Some one out knows how to do it, do i change the sid and the prl ,how do i do it or what do i do??? Please help!!!

If you get into manual NAM programming and change the SID, the OTA might work. It does not always.

P.s you need the PRL file from a crick phone, get it here http://www.howardforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=62307 Then you just use that driver I posted run it click on PRL and open the cricket PRL file and flash it to your phone and your good to go then dail the *228 you will be all set

You can use QPST to do it. You will have to look for it via search as stuff like tha cant be shared/hosted here. However a little birdy told me that *cough* mobile-files.com *cough* is a good resource.

Thanks the *22804 worked on my phone, but it wont work on my brothers pantech 210. His was bought as a verizon prepaid phone and was told prepaid phones are locked. How do i get it unlocked to program cricket to it. When i dial *22804 on his it goes to to verizon. If you could help me once again i would really be thankful!!!! Please repply, thanks!!!!!!!!!

i guess it is possible to set the prl to not search for other OTA manually. he will need to flash the PRL with a cable if the *22804 is not working.
