How to make the N79 keyboard glow/slowly pulsate when it is in standby mode?

Recently I bought a (used) N79. Nothing special, I like it.

At first whenever the phone is left, and the screen goes dim, the keyboard used to slowly "pulse",
and by "keyboard" I mean the button in the middle of the navi wheel;
and by "pulse" I mean it slowly lights up and then slowly goes dark...

(Just like my friend's Prism, btw)

So after setting up setting and whatnot, it is not doing it anymore; not "pulsing" in the dark or whatever it is called.
I tried changing settings, profiles, whatever - no go.

Any input?
 
I dont know N97 can do that. What firmware version are u using? Do you think you got an update that cause the changed?
 
I do not own a N97; probably never will. Read up.

But to answer your questions: I tried updating the phone, but it said no updates are available.
N79-3, SW ver 30.019.234.4, type RM-350.

So - anyone?

Something else bothers me... (rather here than popping a new thread).

When I select an image for a wallpaper, it is NOT displayed in full;
I mean, it goes BELOW the menus on the bottom of the screen and below
the clock/date/reception/battery bar on top:

Is there a way to make those two bottom and top bars maybe transparent?
So I could see the whole wallpaper?


P.S. I am not using any theme, none are installed on the phone.
 
Wallpapers are always exhibited like that. To create them full examine you will need to produce your own theme, and establish that to the phone.
