How to make ringtones using LG Tritan / Triton?

I know that it has been asked before but none of the answers are helping me. I have music loaded on my phone from iTunes that I copy and pasted into the My Music folder that pops open when I plug in my phone. I select USB Mass Storage but I have no idea how to take my songs off my computer and set them as my ringtones. Thank you if anyone can give me help.
I dont want to use any place that will send my ringtone I just want to make them on my computer and sync them to my phone through the cable/ card.
