How to make prom fun and not awkward?

ok so i'm going to prom with a bunch of friends. sadly i'm like the only one without a date. Anyways... any tips to help it not be so awkward and all when everyone else is having fun with their date?

It will be fun. If you're with your friends, it'll be like you're hanging out. The only part you might feel left out in is during pictures when everyone has their date but I mean other than that... It shouldn't be bad unless everyone is like, actually dating their dates, then it might be like third wheel.
