How to make homemade Flash costume?

Hey i'm a 14 yr old girl and i'm wondering how to make a home made Flash costume??

Like, the Flash from DC comics? The most important part is the lightning bolt on the chest. Get a red t-shirt, cut a white circle and a yellow lightning bolt. Sew or glue onto the t-shirt. If you want more, cut out little cardboard wings, paint them yellow or cover in tinfoil, then attach to your shoes and to a headband. Those elements will get the basic idea across without going too nuts on the costume.
 
Hmm, you can use a tight fitting red log sleeved shirt. And red skinny jeans. For the lightening bolt, cut out a piece of old yellow shirt or felt in a that shape and paste/hot glue it to the front of the shirt. For the shoes if you have like yellow shoes you don't really use anymore you can hot glue little lightening bolts on to them or just wear them alone. Of course you need a red cape 8D Old bed sheet?^^
