I have various plants in my aquariums, and not all of them are flourishing like they can be. i use flourescent lighting and the right substrate and plant food store bought.

Im wondering if you can literally make a plant food and i got this from a site that took it off the "CO2 reactor"

Basically you mix in a zip loc bag the following things:

Baked beans (not fried)
Chick peas
Cheerios
(the above 3 are for iron)
Banana
Raisins
(above two for potassium)
some sort of grain (like cereal)
(this one is for calcium)

NEXT: you add some sugar and yeast in the bag and add only a little bit of water and mix everything up. You remove most of the air so the bag sinks. You make a tiny hole in bag only enough so the stuff doesnt come out.

You put this under a decoration, or bury it.

Could this POSSIBLY work?
