I really love the feel of 70's looking photos and was wondering how to take one? Can i make the effect on photoshop or do i need a certain camera? Etc etc...?
Any advice would help
Thank you :)

Since the Seventies WAS definitely film, I suggest you use a film camera.
If that doesn't work try a time machine or fool around in Photo Shop.

I too love the feel of that era but photography has changed a bit since then. Want to drive a '72 GMC pick-up, 8 miles to the gallon?

70's??? oh my I am old...
Hair fluffed up OH that was due to my not being able to aford a hair cut.. worn out T-shirts.. with pocket.. sneekers and jeans..
I shot most of my images back then with a 120 camera of one type or another and tri-x film.. No photo shop existed then.. darkroom, fingers in the chem.. OH and sideburns... not that the hair was there to do it right...
*puts the photos away..*

Looking a Bruce M and putting on my nehru jacket, elephant bells and puca shells

You can emulate the look of old film with photoshop and there are some great plug ins designed expecially for emulating film. But if you want to try a fun way to do it thats not too expensive get an old TLR camera and some black foamcore board from the craft shop and try some through the viewfinder photography. Basically you use the TLR camera as a filter and it gets some really fun vintage results. Yeah there are other ways for sure that get the job done but this is a creative neat way to do it or should I say this is way cooooool man

If it wasn't taken in the 70's then it's going to be Photoshop that gets it to look old.

No camera will give that effect and anyone that says to buy an old one is jerking your chain.

You don't take photos that look like they were from the 70's, you MAKE them into 70's photos.

Look at some of Vargas' Pin-ups... a perfect example of 70's pin up looks.
