I'm trying to cast a mold of a small clay sculpture I made (3X2 inches or so) so that I can make replicas of it (also out of clay). I'm also trying to make a mold of a small vinyl toy I have to make clay replicas.
I bought the sculpey mold making kit but it seems like it is more for copying a pattern on a flat surface, not for anything more 3D.
Can anyone tell me the best way to make a quality mold of a small clay sculpture and/or of a vinyl toy?
