I need some very cheap ways to make a garden look good because I rent The last place i lived in I bought a lot of plants for the garden and had it looking beautifull and then a few months later I was told the landlord decided to sell the house. I've learned not to invest too much money into a rental property that is not yours.
Any advice would be greatly appreciateded.

I live in australia btw and the climate here atm is high mid twenties to high thirties and very humid at times.
Please excuse my grammatic errors thanks...was in a hurry.
