It is controlled by the computer, but you can help things by having your IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE cleaned. I get best results using a product found in Mercury boat stores, called "Power Tune". It has an unusual foaming action that roots out hidden carbon deposits, and restores function to these "gizmo's". While you are there, clean your throttle body and plate. Even better, remove the factory power wasting plugs, and install a set of Bosch Platinum, Fusion, or Nippondenso iridium plugs. You won't believe the difference!!!!
