How to listen to the radio on iPod touch without internet.?

I have a 4th gen ipod touch, 32gb. I know there are apps where you can download and listen to the radio, but is it possible for me to listen to the radio without using any internet? I mostly use my ipod at work and they don't allow us to use the internet and sometimes I just want the radio instead of my regular music. I used my friend's ipod (not a touch) for a while because she had the radio on it (without going through the internet) and said she got an app for it...we don't really talk anymore so I can't ask how she did it.
