I live in NYC (Brooklyn to be specific (or Kings as some people might call it)). Today (5 minutes before asking this question) I checked the tomorrow's weather on the internet and it says that there is a chance of 90% which is pretty high that there will be a snow storm Friday 7th (tomorrow) that will start at 4:00 AM. I need to know how to check if my school will be closed tomorrow or not because I don't want to wake up at 6:00 AM tomorrow, waste 45 minutes by taking 2 trains, walk 10 blocks to school, and end up in front of the school with the security guard telling me that the school is closed and I go all the way back home still feeling pretty sleepy. Is there a way to know if the school will be closed or not before going there because I heard that Mayor Bloomberg tends to delay these news since last year was the first year in 5 years that the school close because of the snow and the kids heard of it after they were more than half way to the schools already. The snow storm will start at 4:00 AM. Thanks in Advance
BTW the snow must be at least 7 inches or so in order to close the school and if it reaches that, the snow blocks the train path anyways so If it does I got an excuse not to go to school because the bus is too far from me and it gets blocked as well
