Pretty much the best way with with a gardening spade and just stab him/her with it like a knife. A shovel can also work although if will just cause pain and they will run not kill them. Also a hoe if you smack them hard enough in there chest with it besides that not much else maybe soil tosser things on the infomercials but that could get too messy.
