How to keep your clothes looking new?

ok well ive been school shopping for school clothes and i was wondering how can you keep your clothes looking new. we have to wear polo style shirts so ive been shopping at hollister aeropostale etc. last year my clothes didnt stay looking new for long so plz help me with this
school starts early this year and so im shopping early so im just wondering
 
Hang them up and never let them lay around in a ball. I personally like hanging my clothes up to dry then putting them in the dryer. I think that helps to. Hope this helped
 
1) Don't use a dryer, Always hang them up outside.
2) When hanging them, turn them inside out so they don't fade.
3) Use laundry detergent made especially for keeping the clothes colors.
