A couple days ago I severely scraped the inside of my baby toe (I tripped over a leaf blower and my baby toe got caught inside the blower part), and it is proving impossible to keep clean. It's just far enough in between to where a bandage won't stay on, and while I would wear sandals to keep it exposed to air so it can dry, it's way too cold not to wear socks- which I feel are the worst things I could wear with this problem. Any tips on how I could clean and dress this terrible gouge, preventing infection even though I have to keep it trapped in a shoe for most of the day? I'm terrified it'll become infected!
