i use redsn0w 0.9.5b5-3 and redsn0w 0.9.5b5-5 with firmware OS 4.0 for jailbroke but in last step my iphone not power on... and dead... update in itunes with 4.0.1 and work but not jailbroken and unlocked

use 4.0(not 4.0.1) ios to jailbreak wth redsn0w 0.9.5b5-5
after,add "sinfuliphonerepo.com" as source and download package and install
ultrasn0w.

I have succesfully jailbreak and unlock iphone 3G 4.0.1 with redsnow095b55.

Selected 4.0 firmware.
after that unlocked with ultrasnow

My Iphone 3G iOS 4.0.1 (8A306) is jailbroken and Unlocked with Redsn0w 0.9.5B5-5 with selecting the iOS 4.0 and not 4.0.1.
I tried to select the iOS 4.0 but redsn0w was not recognizing the firmware. Selecting the iOS 4.0 firmware will jailbrake the Iphone 3G iOS 4.0.1

Thanks to this forum I did it.
