ou should of got a cable with the camera. If not then go buy one, it is probably USB but if your not sure just take the camera with you and ask an assistant.
If you have no software for it then when you plug it in to the computer, go to start menu-my computer-the camera or camera card. You may then have to go through a few folders to find the photos. Once you've found them, select them and either copy or move them to wherever you chose on your hard drive.
your camera should come with a cord, that cord hooks up to the computer and when you have done that. it will ask you if you wanna import your pictures into your computer and you will simply say "yes"

Normally all you have to do is go to 'my computer' and open up devices and then your camera will be there. And all you do is send the pictures to a file.
Nope no software.
There are two ways I believe;
You can enter your chip of your camera,
Or you get a plug in thing that you plug from your camera to your PC
Btw, your camera does need to be digital in order to do this.
If you do not have a small USB Port on your Camera, and it's just a film camera, you get them developed. If it's a digital camera, it hooks to you computer via USB Cord and some cameras have software, others do not.
