Yup. Will be nice if everyone here who got working games, upload the games to that folder. so everything will be there.

Let's make a big collection

i just started dumping z400 again, cos i'm making a new mod 2.0 so i see how long does it take with it, maybe you will have some free time, you can normally use the phone, so call or answer the phones the only minus it's it had to be connected to the cable, anyways thanks for trying

regards

yes, but look at qpst its copyrighted 1998-2006, so probably it's an old version, but there are no newer releases on the net..

but when you have it try EFS explorer, mind that you must enter the entry point first, it doesn't read the fielsystem from root, until you give ita specific folder to read. so write eg. /Java or Java/Games and check whether ther is an access or not,

if you would be also nice iy you could upload somewhere printscreen of what folders there exaclty are in tocco,

eg. open it with bitpim, unfold the tree and make some screenshts, put them on imageshack then it might be helpful to see what is all about, because i don't have this telephone

Hi

i like the midlets from here --> http://midlets.eu/
weather and sunclock are pretty.
one thing is, whatever i install via wap goes into games folder.
i'd rather have maps and weather midlets under "applications"

does anybody know how to move them from "games" to "applications"?
thanx

hello

take a look on this link for the folders

(i can not upload pictures here!)

guys first of all thank you very much for the people coming to help

i am not sur whether this information will help you people or not but anyways here it goes,
i usde to be nokia owner right from n6600 to the latest models and i was a gamer istalling al the games on my phones but if you guys remember n6600 had the same problem, it never installed te jars games although it supported them, although it was a symbian based model. then suddenly came an application in symbian format called file explorer and whenever we tried ti install any jar applicatio through it , it was a success, so what i mean here is that the java installer does not start by itself but we actually need something that would force it to start.

by the way i like the phone f480, just got it a few weeks ago, but not able to play games is a major drawback, mostly because the gprs is costly and not very good around here.

Sorry guys,

FALSE ALARM

After a lot of tries repeting same procedure it does not work.
I have a lot of games but none installed... well that is what I though but the only explanation I found is I already had one game installed with the coincidence I made the test with same game.

Well this is the only explanation I can have (what a coincidence!!)

Any way if some of you want to give it a try I just made a folder for the game at existing folders (I used BitPim):
/User/Exe/Java
and also at:
/User/Exe/Java/filesystem

and I copied jar/jad files inside.
Then I turned off/on device (this is what make me suspect because it should no be enough to rebuid Java DB)

Sorry once again

awaiting memory dump from anyone..

besides I got a meesage today, samsung officialy claims that on tocco run only games made for midp 2.0 and touch technology

you have to log in, in order to see them, could you put them on imageshack, or zip them into one file and put on some donload server, would be grat

there are some problems with this link, but i managed to download it,

thanks! will have some free time i'll get ino that and write any ideas

I got an idea but I prefer to ask for opinion before doing anything.

I do not know too much about Java apps but as far as I understand jar/jad files are installation files that are to be removed after installation.
I also expect if we find out the right place to put jar/jad files, apps will become installed just updating Java DB at

ok, easy [;

first please tell me where you can find games that you install via vap, but don't look in bitpim, just look at your phone menu! what name does it exactly have? games? apps? apps & games?

then, we might try mem dump your phone, try to look for the folder in memory
