How to input files in Nokia Communicator 9500

Hi,
I just bought a used Nokia communicator 9500. The phone is working fine however, i can't understand how to input files in the phone using the software. The software just says that the phone is disconnected. Moreover, the data cable does connect to the cellphone firmly. It is kind of an odd shaped data cable with spkies only at one end.
Can anyone please help me regarding this problem. Thank u
 
OK i got it,.. downloaded the latest software and it worked. Now I have the following questions.

1) Does the Nokia 9500 take in a regular MMC cards and is their any capacity limit to it (like can it take a 2GB MMC card).
2) What kind of softwares can in install on it and how.
3) Can i watch movies on that screen (just for info. I have an iPod video to watch movies)
