how to import bike from usa to Italy?

Hey!
I want to ship a bike from New York to Italy. Do you guys knows which are the fees I have to deal with in Italy? Custom fee? If I register the bike in the USA, Do I have to pay the Italian VAT? Thanks

(Grease Mouth)Tommy(The Bull) Sal (Two Chin) Tony (Tony Cheese) and Lenny(Left Foot) hand and when it arrives in Italy ya gotta grease Mario (Stiletto) Ciro (Big Nose) and Maria (Don't Call me Miss) hands. I believe it would be cheaper to buy the damn bike in Italy.
