how to i wash my denim jeans?

i have no idea how to wash my denim jeans i dont want the color to fade not even a little bit and i want them too feel like when i just bought them like they feel like paper or some kind of substance similar to that can anyone help me? oh and if i take them to the dry cleaners how long dose it take for them to wash them
