how to i move/transfer files to windows media player?

i have some videos (.mp4) that i need to move into windows media player on my computer, because the only way to move files onto my music player is through windows media. any idea how to do this?
and yes, my player does play video files, and already has some on there, but those files were already in windows media center.

Open Windows Media Player/Tools/Library/Monitor Files/OK .

you have to put the files in start/my documents/music

the media player looks in that folder by default
