How to i connect to xbox live using a Sprint 598U mobile broadband modem?

I have no router just a pc laptop with windows vista. I tried everything, i called every single customer support number possible. I tried Internet connection sharing, bridging and just about everything. But maybe im doing something wrong. SOMEBODY PLZ HELP ME. Also give me the step by step instructions (Don't leave anything out). Oh btw i have an ethernet cord.
