How To: HTC Hero Flash to Cricket with Talk, Text, Wap and MMS

Hey I have a hero I wanted to flash but I can't seem to be able to install the htc diag drivers. I downloaded the 3 times and from other forums as well And there all the exact same. When it install the drivers it can't find the htc diag. I tried manually installing but no good it says error. I'm running on windows7 64bit. Is there some other kind of drivers for this os? Everything I try doesn't seem to work.
 
Sorry for the back to back posting but what does Brandon mean that it can't be flashed with 64bit? Could I atleast basic flash it? Huge thanks in advance
 
Htc diag drivers only works with 32-bit windows because it is a 32-bit only driver. There is no 64-bit version yet. So find a 32-bit windows and do it on it.
 
Aww that sucks well thanks anyways. Off to get it flashed by pros instead. There's a local store here in San Diego charging $25 for a full flash... Talk,text,web,apps,youtube,gps.
 
my web just quit working out of the blue i went through and tried just redoing the web did nothing so i started from the being and i did everything step by step three times and still cant get my web to work again everything else works talk text mms if anyone has an idea of why it aint working plz help. i dont know if it was in my pocket at work and some buttons got pressed idk it was working great thanx
 
Have you tried completely resetting your phone? If that doesn't help, it would be helpful to post screenshots of the various settings pages to give anyone who want's to help a pretty good idea of the problem. Thanks
 
so i havent been able to get the mms part to work....


what rom is everyone using?

ive got absolutely everything working but mms. i keep getting unresolved address attempting to resend..

any ideas?
 
Anyone getting the 98 error, random times around the entire day? I tried changing the data and sync settings but still getting the error message. I'm running on the stock 2.1 rom
 
ok so i followed all the directions up till i got to cdma workshop. once i get in that and i try to get it to read on com4, it tells me it can't read. also when using ##3424# it takes me to DM port activity. please help
 
I have this exact same problem, its the most annoying thing ever.
I would pay to get this fixed, except nobody around knows how to fix it.
I notice my 3g icon dissapears when it pops up.

Can someone help us fix this error 98?
Its killing me!

Well since u are so desperate to fix it, why don't you backup all ur data, wipe the whole phone and redo everything all over again. I dont know what error 98 means but I suggest installing every app one by one and keying in every setting one by one to see if the problem pops up again so u know the source. Hope this helps.
 
what prl is everyone getting after the *228 update from the 1039 prl. I ended up with 1015 and no ev-do. Is this the correct one for a non roaming account?
 
Ive got everything working correctly web,text,talk, you name it except mms....

ive tried 2 different roms

First result:
MMS evdo up+down arrow lights up once together, and then the button just sits and spins forever and ever and ever..

Second rom result:
instantly get unresolved address...

i know the mms is working properly on my account, i also know that ive done every step correctly as ive done the droid, and erispreviously and am pretty good with directions and theandroid software.

Ive tried deleting apn's and restoring also... STILL no luck on mms...

its been three weeks and i cant get it working, can i get some help 1 cricket person to another please :)

also, has anyone figured out how to get rid of the annoying sprint error 67?
