I have a Vizio VW37L HDTV20A TV that I want to connect to my Philips TS3544 Surround Sound system. I want the surround sound to play for all of my audio from the TV, which is achieved by utilizing the "Optical" output (spdif). Problem is, my Philips only has a coax input; no optical input. I've seen converters, but wondering if there is an easier way. Is the converter the only way to do this? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!
