Hello.

When i'm in a call and i want to hang up, i have to press the back button to activate the display and then touch the red hang-up-button on the display. this takes too long so the person at the other end thinks i'm still there. is there a way to hang up "better" ?

btw: i'm not an idiot, just asking... i have the samsung galaxy 3

thanks!

like i said, the samsung galaxy 3 with android 2.1

but i think it's a general question... usualy you have a pushbutton to press to hang up, but here you have a touch button on the display you have to activate by pressing another button.

kinda intricate?

It was designed to be used with the touch screen. Look in the market for an app that might help. Id recommend u get a phone with physical send / end keys in the future. U can always exchange ur phone in the first 30 days if ur carrier allows that Guy

I have a different phone (N1), but maybe there are similar settings. On mine, if I wanted to, I could go into settings/Accessibility settings/ and there is a checkbox to enable "Power button ends call" which might be useful to you.

I haven't had to use that because I just usually move the phone from my ear and the screen turns on with the "end call" button ready to tap. Only one touch for me, but it is a different phone.

Perfect!!

. I forgot about that do to the fact that some of us N1 users haven't had a working power button in months

If your device has a power button toggle, there is an option in your settings to toggle end call function. Should located - settings/accessibility.
