have a Felony Neglect Conviction ( my home was a mess because I was suffering from depression at the time) The charge is 2 years old and every time it comes up in an interview ( which is to say EVERY interview) the employer goes from nice to not as soon as it is discussed and the interview is promptly ended. My question is how can I discuss such a serious offense in a light that will allow the employer to look past the charge and see a dedicated hard working potential employee?
