I just adopted a dog today, well I kinda just 'took her off someones hands' because they didn't want her. She is some poodle mix and has matted hair and knots. some I just can't untangle. I'm planning on bathing her tonight. Can I just cut out the matted hair? I don't have the $ to take her to the groomers but I don't want to leave her like that.
