how to groom a horse and the kit needed?

are there anythings that can help a horse that sometimes you miss out of a kit e.g. fly spray and trimming scissors (even tea bags even though it sounds silly) any tips and advice would also be good. (i'm english so i use diffrent words than some western riders eg dandy brush and not a hard brush.
 
plastic curry comb, metal curry comb, rubber curry comb, body brush, comb for mane, dandy brush, sponges (for eyes and bum etc...), plating bands might be useful, water brush, maybe bandages, wisp, cloth

teabags?
