How to go back?

I upgraded my pearl to V4.2.1.107 and my keyboad is not working very well....

when ever i have to type "Y" or any other letter that requires me to press a key twice... all I end up with is two "TT" instead of a "Y"

when I did the upgrade I backed up my BB.
Last night I restored it, but it only restored the data. it's still running V4.2.1.107
Where can I get the old version? i'm not sure what version it is... but before the V4.2.1.107

Be sure you uninstall .107 from control panel>add/remove prog

Just like upgrading. Install the os you want to go back to and uninstall .107. App loader will recognize that you have a newer os on bb than installed on pc and will actually ask you to downgrade.

The restore has nothing to do with the os.

It sounds like you need to enable suretype. Press the menu button while composing a message and you'll be able to enable it there. Sorry if this isn't the information you're looking for. ~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~

read down the middle column of the link that C2 gave you. Look for a version that has an application version less than the one you want. I saw a few as I scanned it. ATT has .96, O2 has .93...

The link in Cherris post above provides links to several OS download options - do you know what OS you want? I assume T Mobile is your carrier - are you looking for .64? Have you ever installed an OS from another carrier? A better choice may be one of the newer OS from another carrier. All you need to do is find and delete the vendor.alx file after you install on your desktop and you can use other carriers OPSYS on your TMO phone.
