Hey!
Okay, I had taken a 2 month course for nursing assisting. I did very well in the class but when it came time for the state test, I missed one of the crucial steps in the skills section and I automatically failed the test. I had planned on getting retested but after finding a great job as an stna anyhow, I neglected going back to get state tested.
It's been about 9 months ago now...and I'm really hoping to start Live Oaks LPN program in Novemember, although you have to be a STATE TESTED nursing assistant. Which means in order for me to enroll for the LPN course, I need to retest.
How do I go about this? I have googled EVERYTHING! I can't find a facility that is used as a testing center nor can I find any helpful hints on studying for the skills section. After 9 months of not practicing, I doubt I can pass the skills portion without some studying and hands on experience. I absolutely do not have the money to take the class again since financial aide isnt given, so how on earth do i study the skills portion and retake this state test in order to begin the LPn program?
