How to give my dog his medicine?

My dog has to take 9 pills a day, for seizures. For the past couple years we have be giving them to him in little pieces of people food, but now he is overweight, and I am sure if we gave him the pills in something else he might drop a few pounds. Does anyone have a low fat dog recipe that are just little bite size pieces?

Look for a product called pill pockets. You can put several pills in one pocket or break them in small pices for each pill. Most dogs love them. Sadly anti-seizure medication causes weight gain in dogs and people alike.
 
Well you don't need any special diet to get your dog to loose weight just make sure it gets plenty of exercise and lower the amount of food the dog receives. As well give it two meals a day and allow it 30 minutes to eat after that remove the plate with the food. Hope this helps. ( :

Better consult with vets doctor for your dog medicine.
As for low fat dog recipe search on the net and you will get tons of recipes.
