i am leaking antifreeze(very small amount) and it seems to be coming from were i believe the drain valve is on the lower drivers side of the radiator...but the fitting looks different than the "wing" type im used to...any other ideas what might be leaking or ideas on how to see if the valve is loose...there is a box above that says purge..and tank and has hoses and vacume lines in my way are these safe to remove?
it also wont leak if i just start it when cold and let it run for like 15 min and check it dosnt leak until its driven for a while??

Should also do a quick check by taking a look at the radiator fins. Notice any damaged fins? Sometimes debris may end up getting lodged into the fins causing a leak.

Its on the left lower corner of radiator and there is a drain hose just above it that can be pulled down to drain radiator if needed. Lay on ground below the radiator and check to see if drain cock is still tight.

If I were you I would check the water pump for leaks and check for leaks at the weap hole behind pulley, because i just did one on my dads 2000 tahoe which is pretty much the same car, and those commonly go bad on them.
