How to get the cargo net down in a Volvo V50?

So we bought a car (a Volvo V50) from someone who had a dog and they have left the cargo net up. We are also moving in 2 days so we need to be able to fold 2 seats down but have 1 up. My mother says the cargo net won't come down and you need to the net down to fold the seats down or you have to fold them all down?
