i damaged the nerves in my foot so i have been out about 4 months. I started jogging about a month ago and i was doing well i could do 7 laps with sprinting the last 100m on the last lap. Now i can manage 4 at the very most at a very slow pace.
I started sprinting and my first week back i felt amazing i know i wasnt going fast but it felt like it.
A week on and ever since my legs are tired and heavy and i feel crap.
I havent got back into full training sessions yet because i know i wouldnt manage it and im not wasting all the time travelling just to do like half a session or whatever i could manage.
The most i have done in a session is 6 short hills with walk back and about 1 minutes rest or 10x80m walking back and a little rest after every 4.
Now i cant even do them and my motivation is running low i feel like packing it all in, my head says i should just give up but my heart says dont because i love this sport more than anything.
all the way through my injury and now I do about 20-25 press-ups, 70 sit ups and 30 squats repeated 3 times and i was well into it now i feel tired for them and i dont have the motivation to do them either.
I also need to strengthen my ankle up because that hurts/feels tired after i jog.
Please help i want to get back as quickly as possible otherwise i feel i will not ever make it back into sprinting
