how to get salvaged title for old bike?

i was wondering if it would be easy to get a salvaged title for my old 71 sl 100 and would it affect the value.... i dont think people would care since its so old they know it wasnt crashed
 
It depends on your state. Usually it involves you fixing up the bike, then having it inspected to ensure it's road-worthy and safe to operate. Check your state's motor vehicle website, they should have information there.
