How to get rid of my nasty split ends?):?

okay i just trimmed my hair but i STILL have split ends): i trim my split ends seperately but it takes forever! I really want my hair to grow out but its seems like i would have to shave my head to get rid of all of them): which i am not doing! and yes i used to straighten my hair ALOT, but im trying not to this summer to give my hair a break. i do not want to cut my hair any more its already so short):
also i just bought mane and tail shampoo and conditioner and im hoping it helps?
i dont know what to do):
 
Conditioning your hair and not straightening it will help but, what you need to do is let your hair grow out some then cut off ALL of the split ends. With the split ends gone your hair will grow fast. Maintain trimming your hair to keep the split ends away and your hair will be getting longer and staying healthy.
