How to get my mom to let me buy a rated m game?

I am going to hopefully get fallout 3 tomorrow, but my mom usually does not let me get m rated games. What are some things I could do to convince her to let me have the privilege of playing an m game? I mean, she knows I'm mature and all, but she thinks it is 'desensitizing me' Which I think is a load of spaghetti roast beef poop.

Kill a pet, then cry and be inconsolable and say "See, I'm not desensitized!" OR do any of what the people above said. =)

anyway, ask her saying that ur mature and that she can watch u play it to see if it is desensitizing u (fallout 3 is not that bad of a game to play, u kill the bad guys mainly and save humanity) plus (if u want to be a smartass) say that there is worse stuff on tv

wait till you get mature. otherwise you must promise her to do all household chores everyday. it's a give and take thing.

Well, the way to talk doesn't show you are Mature. The best way to show her that you are mature is to drop the whole thing and not pester her about it. If you nag her to buy the game she will not think you are mature.
