How to get custom ringtones on the Samsung Intensity 2 via USB?

Okay so first off I have tried so much already and nothing has worked, and I cannot send pictures or emails so nothing like that will work, I have an audio converter and cropper I just need to know how to get ringtones from my pc to the samsung intensity 2 VIA usb, when I upload an mp3 file it puts it in my music, and there is no way that I know of to make your music on your phone into a ringtone, I need help badly guys so please im very desperate at this point
