How to get best graphics for Ps3 on Sanyo 32 inch flat screen?

My graphics are ok, but when I go to my friends house or gamestop their grahics look wayyyyy better than mines. I go to settings and my tv supports all 480,720,1080i,and 1080p, but it just doesnt seem like im getting the best quality out of all my games.
 
An hdmi cable might make it look better but check your ps3 settings when you first set it up it asks you what resolution to use so try checking out the ps3 settings or buy an hdmi cable

You wont regret it and it shouldn't be too expensive. Even though your screen is small its good quality.
 
You can get a good HDMI cable pretty cheap. Its well worth the cost. Newegg is having a sale for another 50ish some hours and they have a pretty good one on sale: Rosewill - Pellucid HD Series High Speed HDMI® cable (6 FEET) for $3.99 with free shipping.
